Use this easy tool to email your MP to demand they support an inquiry. It’s important to get every MP on the record and for them to know there is consequences by standing by silent.
Want to get ahead of the curve? Divest from weapons manufacturers…. In all its forms across all investments. And the likes of Palantir and AI companies ( Lavender is one) who aid putrid regimes in assessing/ targeting innocent civilians for eradication - instantly as they go about their day.
Excellent work from David Pockock and Sophie Scamps - and Laura Banks. Unsurprising but appalling response from Labor and the Coalition in attempting to put a lid on this. Underlying this problem is the fact that our government is in denial that the US has gone rogue, so they continue to act under instructions. AUKUS is another case in point: because the major parties are stuck to it, the only way to conduct an enquiry was inependently, which is what Peter Garrent and the Australia Institute did. That enquiry got a lot of support, and maybe one effectively on the genocide would get even more.
Big thanks to all involved in the Redlines Bills and best wishes for their success in Parliament despite the shameful Labor stance. (I don’t expect much of the Coalition.)
I’m not at all happy with Richard Marles’s enthusiasm for making Australia a bigger arms exporter. The nightly TV news bulletins should leave no doubt of the arms trade’s detriment to ordinary people trying to live their lives in peace across the globe.
It’s time to take a principled stance against the arms industry in defence of our humanity. Thanks again.
AUKUS, btw, is looking sillier and sillier. Neither the US nor the UK can produce enough submarines for themselves, while we accept fantasy promises that SSNs for us are on track.

I’ve sent off my email to Dan Tehan. We probably all know that he’ll take no notice. At least I’ve tried.
Absolutely - it’s important you do that
Thanks Rita
Do we need an inquiry though? More time and more money spent when the facts are already here?

Laura Banks 👏
