'Next week, Savage is due to appear on a panel discussing “how we can uphold truth, diversity, and democracy in Australian libraries” following a public screening of The Librarians – a documentary on how “librarians in the United States are standing up against censorship and political intimidation”'.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave...
How ironic 🙄
Makes me more determined to keep wearing a watermelon 🍉 badge.
My first reaction is to roll my eyes and say this is totally ridiculous but this is a symptom of a much larger problem. That the propaganda and censorship narratives that are driven by the extreme right/religiously and culturally supremacist groups is alive and well and working as they wanted. They have been able to silence their opposition and cause them to fear the consequences. What it says about society is that we’ve accepted their narrative as reality, as truth. We hand over power when we allow these extreme groups to be the “meaning makers”

When I was growing up political correctness was somthing the right complained about. Now it’s something they complain about and engage in.

Outrageous that PLV is 'deeply concerned' by watermelons
The world is upside down.
